Here is a very small sample of the hundreds of photographs taken locally and on my travels. Abandonment is a key theme whether of shacks in Montana or Dungeness, goalposts in the Galapagos Islands or a steamer in a field near Lake Como.

A recent book is a photographic record of architecture and art of the Native American Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. It invites a critical comparison of black and white and colour photographs of the same scene.
