Methodology

Much of the work starts with a photograph,either found or taken myself. It is then modified with a specific idea in mind to produce a final collaged image.

Other work derives from precise technical drawings of iconic buildings or text drawn on an isometric grid. The text work has produced a new, original font which tricks the eye.

Many of my images have been presented in book form, each book telling a particular visual story. I design and print the books; they are then bound by a professional book-binder.
